DELETION

Mon Oct 29, 2007, 3:28 PM
I am deleting this account for a variety of reasons

One: I hate the name (sorry emo baby)

two: I want to start over with a new name and a new level of professional artsyness

Three: I really hate the name.

so yea, it'll be slow going until I can get everything up.

I am doing art, I swear!

Mon Aug 6, 2007, 10:47 AM
I've been really bad lately, with the whole doing my comics, doing my art, posting both of those things on their respective websites etc. etc.

But I have been doing art.

I have a whole folder of my school projects from AP Studio Art (all of which are nifty and I really need to take pictures of and post). I've drawn sketches of people in my book, I've even done a really nice cartoon of my cousin and my Aunt is going to frame it and hang it up!

I haven't been up on my art summer assignments, or any of my summer assignments though. (Too lazy, can't be arsed) and that needs to be fixed. I really can't afford to fail AP Art and AP Art History since they are really what will help me get into colleges of my choice. (I will be entering my Senior and FINAL year of High School at the end of August...SCARY).

My top 3 Picks:

Rhode Island School of Design
Savvanah College of Art and Design
Maryland Institute College of Art

The last one is closest to me, the first two are pretty much pretty damn far away. The more I think about it, the more MICA appeals because I'm just too attatched to my home state. I LOVE Maryland and the scene is ripe for my kind of art. I've gone to loads of fairs and it's all Abstract and Crafty- I think they're in Vogue. I'm more Surreal/Cartoony/Crafty so I'll be a refreshing change. I can provide art for people who don't want peices of clocks and newspapers stuck on/in canvas hung on their walls.

After my nasty time with my Abstract Sculpture teacher at the Pre College thing at Carnegie Mellon, I can definately say it is not my natural style. SURREAL PEOPLE, IT'S THE WAY TO GO!

For me, at least.

I LOVE Salvador Dali, and I LOVE Andy Warhol (no matter how often I just FORGET HIS NAME) and my art style and use of color definately mixes the two when I feel all high art and move away from my luverly cartoons.

I want to do my own teeshirt designs too; I've almost finished painting a tie for dad and it's all blocky and brightly colored (really nifty) and I need to finish it and take pictures of it and post that too.

Trust me, it's really cool.

Well, that's all!

I need to contact brichan to ask how she gets multiple pictures in one canvas on photoshop because I really have no idea how to do that and I'm plain clueless.

Slight clean up

I did a bit of a clean up on my deviations. Some got deleted, a lot were moved to scraps.

I just wanted my deviantion gallery to be a little cleaner looking, a little more professional and showed off my talent better.

Frustrated

I want to make a collage-like thing for a new DeviantID, but I don't know how to import different images into a picture I'm working on in paint OR photoshop. So I am really lost and confused.

I KNOW I've done it before, but I can't for the life of me figure out how I did it.

Help?
